Your Doctor Might Not Tell You This…

Finding out your bones are losing density

And that you’re going to live a frail, difficult and painful older life can be a shock and hard to take in.

But it’s even more frustrating when you discover you could have done something about it…

And here’s the thing – sometimes when the symptoms show – and you go to the professionals… you don’t always get the help you need.

It’s easy for an overworked doctor to miss the warning signs and chalk them up to “life”…

When you’re young and “strong” but experiencing unexplained back pain… and your doctor sends you for physiotherapy…which doesn’t help ……

Or you experience sudden tooth loss after pregnancy… and you are urged to get tooth implants…

Or when you’re going through menopause… and you’re only focusing on the hormonal changes

Those could all have been warning signs of possible bone loss… but they were treated as something else.

It’s Easy To Miss The Warning Signs
& Leave It Till It’s Too Late.

And even when you show up with more severe symptoms like having fractures after a fall…

The healthcare system is increasingly overloaded

Doctors are busy people and have little more than 5 minutes

to diagnose you, which leaves you feeling dismissed, unseen and unheard,

and stuck with treatments that may or may not be the solution

Here’s the thing…

Doctors cannot see all of your symptoms at all times

You need to know what’s happening with your bone density  so you can DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

You need to know whether there might be bone loss happening.
And you need to get to the root of the problem. What’s causing that loss?
And take action NOW.

Waiting until you have severe symptoms is leaving things way too late

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

You can take control of your bone health right now.

No matter where you are in your life journey.

And set yourself up for a strong, healthy, active future.

It starts with you.

The MNM Approach

Building strong healthy bones isn’t about a rigid diet. It isn’t about tedious exercise plans. It isn’t about taking pills every single day. It’s about a lifestyle. One that supports your bones, and supports you – so you can live with joy and passion for life.

I’m all about building a lifestyle that supports your bones and your health through

Mindset. Nutrition. & Movement.

The Healthy Bone Journey

Each stage of life has an impact on our bones. Knowing this helps us to build stronger, healthier bones, for a happier life… Which stage are you in? And what do you need to do NOW to support your bones?

Young kids

Proper nutrition and physical activity at early ages sets the foundations for healthy, strong bones

Teens & Young Adults

Peak bone mass is achieved by around 30 years of age. Yo-yo dieting and inactive lifestyle at this age can impact bone density later on in life

Pregnancy

During pregnancy your body is creating another little human. And that means calcium and other nutrients can be pulled from the bones. Supplementing and eating right is really important to maintain strong and healthy bones!

Menopause

Menopause comes with changes in hormones and this means that calcium can be leeched from the bones. It’s important to nourish your body and bones during this time with proper nutrition and exercise. (While balancing the hormones)

Retirement

You can take action to strengthen and support your bones and live an active, and healthy lifestyle! This is the time when you want your strength to maybe travel more, or play with your grandkids and enjoy the fruits of your working years.
